Uniprint Blood Drive: Giving the Gift of Life
Uniprint employees gave back to their fellow South Africans through rolling up their sleeves and donating “the gift of life” this November.
On Tuesday 14 November, Uniprint hosted the SABS Blood Drive at their offices in Springfield, Durban. In the build up to the visit, Uniprint employees were encouraged to get involved and make a donation. The response was fantastic. A total of twenty-seven staff members donated blood on the day with six of them making a donation for the first time.
Uniprint general manager Leal Wright said, “We had hoped to reach a total of sixteen donors, but to nearly double that number is an incredible achievement. We would like to thank all Uniprint employees who took part in the blood drive for taking the time to support this worthy cause. The SANBS staff were also amazing as they really had to work under pressure!”
Pleased with the turnout and the dedication of their staff, Uniprint are proud to have made a contribution to the SANBS as their donations will certainly make a difference and may even save a life.
